Faith, Family and Friends…that about says it all. If you have all three of these things and in that order…life is good. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer six years ago, the social worker asked me if I had a support system. Faith, family and friends was my three-word answer.
After hearing my response, we talked a little while longer and she told me that I would be able to cope with the situation with my priorities in that order. With my faith, family and friends, I knew that I could get through this. What a feeling of peace that was. I have created a simple design for three simple words that mean so much. The crown represents eternity. The tree is a little tree of life. The heart, of course, represents love. I wanted it to look old so I used tea dyed linen and Sampler Threads, but try colors that match your house or make it for a friend. It works up pretty quickly.
