Welcome to Trinity Designs. I have been making gifts for my friends and family for years. I love making something personal and special for them. People kept asking me to make charts for my designs, so I decided to make that leap. Every design has a story. As you look through my blog. check out the story that goes with each chart. By working with traditional motifs, my designs are timeless. Enjoy browsing!

Aunt Anne

This ornament was stitched for my Aunt Anne for her birthday. Each motif has a special meaning. The heart obviously represents love. The four birds represent her four children, Karen, Bill, Amy and David. The lower left bird also represents her beloved pet cockatiel.
The flowers represent her beautiful gardens around her home. In the lower left corner are her initials and the month and day of her birthday. I always stitch a little note on the back of the ornament in backstitch. I put my initials and the date back there, too.
Just a little something for someone special.
